Silicone Sealant

A gun-applied silicone that cures in air to a permanently flexible rubber, which is exactly what a joint between two materials that move needs. Used around wash basins, sink rims, bath tubs, shower trays, glass partitions and window glazing. The sanitary grade carries a fungicide so the bead does not go black with mould in a wet bathroom; the neutral cure grade is the one to use on mirrors and on marble or granite, because the acetic grade can stain stone and attack mirror backing. Tool the bead within five minutes with a wet finger.
